Dangerous Organizations and Illegal Activities Policy

This policy explains what organizations, activities, and content are prohibited on Xiam because they pose a risk of real-world harm.

Definitions

1. Dangerous Organizations

You may not use Xiam to:

Debate Context

Discussing, analyzing, or debating the causes, history, ideology, or policy responses to terrorism and extremism — including unpopular or controversial positions — is not itself a violation. Academic, journalistic, and counter-extremism discussion is permitted. What's prohibited is promotion, recruitment, glorification, and material support.

2. Illegal Goods and Services

You may not use Xiam to advertise, sell, buy, or facilitate:

You may not use Xiam to facilitate:

Organized Crime

Promotion, recruitment, or coordination on behalf of organized criminal groups is prohibited.

3. Human Trafficking and Exploitation

Xiam strictly prohibits content or behavior that facilitates, advertises, or promotes:

This is in addition to, and reinforced by, our Child Safety Standards Policy where minors are involved.

4. Coordinating Real-World Harm

You may not use Xiam's messaging, comments, or any other feature to plan, coordinate, or incite real-world violence, rioting, or other unlawful harmful activity.

You can report any post, comment, Story, or profile for content related to dangerous organizations or illegal activity using the in-app reporting tool.

7. Appeals

If your content was removed and you believe it was legitimate news, academic, or counter-extremism discussion rather than promotion of a dangerous organization, you can appeal through the process described in our Enforcement and Appeals Policy.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as Xiam's features and community standards evolve. Material changes will be noted in-app.
